Key responsibilities include:

Creation, research and development of seasonal mood boards, selecting colour palette and fabrications.
Managing all aspects of the product design process – Including market research, identifying trends, concept and mood board creation, range planning/designing, fabric & trim selection, print development, technical sketching (CAD) and creating garment specifications and tech packs online.
Managing off-shore sample development.
Checking the fit, measurements and workmanship of samples.
Managing collection pricing and designing to achieve product gross profit margin expectations.
Working with management on creative direction for overall brand image and marketing material.
We are seeking candidates with the following:

3+ years’ experience designing women’s fashion apparel.
Ability to lead the design and product development process from start through to a finished commercial product.
Working understanding of fabric and bag construction. GT knowledge essential.
In-depth knowledge of design techniques and processes.
Ability to create garment/bag specifications and tech packs for offshore development.
CAD drawing experience.
Experience dealing with offshore manufacturers.
Experience in garment fitting.
Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Illustrator and Adobe.
Sense of style and colour.
Strong commercial acumen.
Strong understanding of product costing methodology, gross profit margin.
