Job title: Office administrator
Location: Sydney CBD
Type: Part-time (with the possibility of transition to full-time) Industry: Engineering
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
• Utilize accounting knowledge to assist with financial data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings with precision.
• Maintain and organize office records, documents, and files efficiently.
• Act as a liaison between various departments, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
• Support management with special projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in office administration, preferably with a background in accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
