Need Accountant bookkpper

CPA firm

We are looking for a motivated bookkeeper that can work independently and in a team.


The role is part time for the time being and may be full time in the future.

The role includes:
Liaise directly with clients, partners, accounting staff and the ATO to meet lodgment deadlines.
Perform bookkeeping tasks with a high level of accuracy, including; data entry, accounts receivable and payable, batch payments and bank reconciliations.
Process payroll; including superannuation guarantee, leave, accruals, STP compliance, Payroll Tax and year-end procedures.
Maintaining consistent and accurate filing and record keeping procedures.
Draft BAS & IAS preparation.
Prepare, review and analyst reports and report irregularities to accounting staff.
Maintain professional standards and confidentiality requirements.

Skills/Experience required;

Minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience with XERO, MYOB OR QuickBooks, with experience working in an Australian accounting firm.
Diploma in accounting/TAFE qualification preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are fundamental to this role. You will need to be able to build relationships with clients and deliver information clearly and concisely.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
