Maintenance Engineer Assistance

B&E Foods is a food service company located in Blacktown, dealing with the most extensive range of quality fresh meat, seafood, frozen food, groceries and dry products.

Job Responsibilities and duties

Carry out breakdown maintenance as planned
Carry out repair on faulty equipment and improve the reliability of the equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment
Carry out basic handy man duties
All and ad hoc tasks as assigned
Record maintenance activities
Be compliant with company policies and statutory regulations while upholding safety and quality standards
Skills / Experience

Previous mechanical maintenance and workshop experience, installing repairing, modifying, assembling, and overhauling plant equipment.
Previous work experience working with pumps and compressors
Previous work experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Ability to solve complex problem, think outside the box and a drive for solution
Fabricating and welding experience
Forklift license
Must be able to work unsupervised in a maintenance environment
