Opportunity for a bilingual PLT Paralegal Junior Solicitor

STC Lawyers is a boutique law firm located in Hurstville that predominately specialises in Migration Law and other types of transaction legal services such as property conveyancing.

We currently offer an opportunity for PLT placement with an offer to extend to a part time/full time role for the right candidate.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm

Required Skillsets:
1. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
2. Highly organised and attention to detail
3. Ability to work independently without supervision
4. Prior experience in Immigration, property or family law preferred (not mandatory)
5. Experience in marketing/sales/website management also preferred

Job description:
1. Conduct legal research on complex law cases.
2. Assist senior lawyer to draft legal submissions for a wide range of case types.
3. Attend tribunal hearings, property settlements and other legal errands.
4. Prepare, draft and organise application forms and required documentation.
5. Independently manage cases, including liaising with client for required documentation from beginning to end of a legal matter.
6. Able to professionally communicate with clients from both office walk in and via e-mail or phone.
7. Provide other admin support as necessary, including assistance with marketing brochures, client alerts, legal regulation/policy updates, translations, website & media updating.
