Job Description

The office operation intern reports directly to the business director and the duties and responsibilities of the position include but is not limited to the following:

1. General office administration and maintenance, e.g. purchasing, records management and supplier liaison.
2. Maintain and improve office systems and processes including website and contract management.
3. Project management and events support for workshops and major events.
4. Maintain and update an organized database, and contact relevant parties to schedule meetings.
5. Assist manager to plan and conduct marketing and advertising campaigns.
6. Assist in the proposal making and marketing materials.
7. Undertake administrative tasks associated, including scanning, and data-entry jobs.

Candidate Requirements

Proven supervisory and management skills, including:

1. Team building, training of new employees.
2. Judgement, flexibility, responsiveness and demonstrated performance in the delivery of outcomes.
3. Well developed administrative skills with the proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.
4. Ability to work independently and productively.
5. Strong communication skills including written and oral presentations.
6. Bilingual proficiency (Chinese and English Bilingual).
